Have a Heart for Companion Animals, Inc. is hosting its 1st annual Putts for Mutts charity golf classic. The classic will be held at the Golden Hills Golf & Turf Club (4782 NW 80th Ave, off HWY 27 west of I-75).

Golden Hills is a Rees Jones Design. It has been selected by the USGA to host the 2009 United States Women’s Mid-Amateur, a National Championship.

Schedule of Events:

11:00 A.M.  Gourmet Buffet Lunch & Warm Up
1:00  A.M.   Shotgun Start Golf Outing
5:30  P.M.   Awards Presentation & Door Prizes

Every player will receive a “Golf Care Kit” full of neat things like a Divot Tool, Golf Tees, Ball Marker and other gift items.

Format: Four Person Scramble…Net Prizes Wilson Handicap Entry Fee: $75 Per Individual which includes Greens Fees, Gourmet Buffet Luncheon, and other goodies.

Special Prizes & Awards Include: 1st, Place Team, 2nd Place Team, 3rd Place Team, Team Most Likely to Improve, Funniest Team Name (Must Be Animal Related), Closest To The Pin, Longest Drive, Longest Putt, and a “Hole In One” $10,000 cash prize to the 1st player that makes a “Hole In One” on the 8th Hole.
